2014 was a prolific vintage in the Sta. Rita Hills. The growing season had warmer than average temperatures and a small amount
of rainfall. However, the cool ocean breezes that sweep the vineyards daily led to ideal timing and even growth of the vines. A
slightly earlier bloom and fruit set led into warm summer months that contributed rich flavor concentration and even fruit
maturity.

The 2014 Fog Theory is exceptionally dark and rich. Aromas of ripe raspberry and dark berry fill the glass with hints of vanilla.
The 20% new oak allows the grape tannin to shine, while still contributing barrel spices to the palate. A full, lush mouthfeel is
accented by soft notes of nutmeg and pepper on the finish.
